Austintown. . .Funeral services will be 9:30 AM Friday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, and at 10:00 Am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Austintown for John E. "Jackie" Shea, age 53, of Austintown who died Monday of an apparent massive heart attack. Jackie was born June 27, 1951, in Youngstown, the son of Jack E. and June M. McLaughlin Shea.
He was a 1969 graduate of Ursuline High School and had attended Y. S. U. and Kent State University. He had been employed by Polaris window manufacturing, J. J. C. as a correction officer and at L.T.V. Steel for 18 years and had attended St. Joseph Church.
Jackie enjoyed cooking and sports especially the Dallas Cowboys and the Cleveland Indians. His most precious times were spent with his family especially his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his parents John and June Shea, his five sisters Joyce Jack Stabile of Hubbard, Terri Jim Centafanti with whom he made his home, KatyDanSchrader of Austintown, DorothyBill Klasic Vittorio of Youngstown and Jean Lutsi of Lubbock, TX; 3 brothers Tim Joan Shea of Austintown, Dennis Shea of Quoque, New York and Patrick Breen Julie Shea of Columbiana and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his niece Shannon Vittorio.
