Joseph Lavore

POLAND - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Holy Family Church, for Joseph V. Lavore, 92, who died Friday morning at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Joseph was born Feb. 3, 1921, in Bronx, N.Y., to Vincent and Cecialia (Hook) Lavore.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served his country during World War II. Joseph worked as an assistant manager at A&P Tea Company, retiring in 1979 after 42 years.
Joseph and his wife, Delores Catale, whom were married Sept. 23, 1967, moved to this area in 1998 to be closer to family. He was a member of the Holy Family Church.
Joseph was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Per Joseph's wishes, there will be no calling hours.
