YOUNGSTOWN - Joseph A. Pangello Jr., 71, died Monday, Aug. 24, 2015, at Hospice House, with his loving family by his side.
Joseph, affectionately known as "Joe," was born on June 14, 1944, in Youngstown, the son of Joseph A. Pangello Sr. and Clara Sabella.
Amongst many other things, Joe worked as an inspector and tow motor operator for General Motors, retiring after 43 years.
Joe enjoyed many things, most importantly, spending time with his family. He was an avid classic car lover, a member of Buckeye Van Association, a golfer, gardener, and NASCAR enthusiast. One of Joe's most prized possessions was his van that he designed, painted, and upholstered from top to bottom.
Joe is survived by his four children, Renee (Patrick) Canon of Vienna, Brijette (Thomas) Morton of Youngstown, Victor (Yvonne) Pangello of Columbus and Anthony Pangello of Poland; and three grandchildren, Brandon and Giovanni Morton and McKenna Cannon.
Besides his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carmen and Maria (Romeo) Pangello; and a brother, Carmen A. Pangello.
Family and friends may call on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
