AUSTINTOWN - Private family services will be held for Joseph P. Yerchin, 86, who passed away Sunday at Hospice House.
Joseph was born Dec. 8, 1924, in Maynard, the son of the late Moxie and Frances Horvat Yerchin.
Joseph was a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War I and World War II. He was an accountant for Youngstown Sheet and Tube. He enjoyed golfing, square dancing, NASCAR racing and watching war movies. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Joseph leaves his two daughters, Tina John Yerchin Borrelli and Gizmo Borrelli of Austintown and Joy Ann Kevin Johnson of Austintown; two sons, Marty Yerchin of Dayton and Donald Yerchin of Austintown; five grandchildren, Kevin Melissa Johnson, Heaven Ronnie Cable, Canda Chris McAllister Johnson, Casey Johnson and Avuilla Agee; and four great-grandchildren, Alyssia Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Cierra Cable and Christopher Lindsey.
Arrangements are being handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
