Youngstown - Services will be held 8:00PM Monday evening at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Josephine "Kitty" Colantone, 89 who passed away Thursday morning.
Mrs. Colantone was born October 22, 1916 in Youngstown the daughter of Samuel and Christine Armeni.
She was a homemaker and caregiver to her children and grandchildren. Her passion was music as she touched many people with her singing. She left a song in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Her husband, William Colantone, whom she married in 1936, passed away in March of 1994.
She leaves 2 daughters, Judy Clayton and Joyce Dave Perri, a son, William Nancy Colantone, a sister, Viola Armeni, 2 brothers, Thomas and Robert Armeni, 6 grandchildren, Dov Susan Clayton, Dejha Colantone, Nick Debbie Perri, Corey Peggy Colantone, Nicole Perri, and Brandy Perry, and 2 great-grandchildren, Anthony Colantone and Nyah Clayton.
She was preceded in death by 6 sisters, Mary Guerrieri, Theresa Kitt, Rose Smaldino, Millie, Virginia Tomasino, and Pauline Salaga, and 3 brothers, Joseph, Samuel, and Richard.
