NEW MIDDLETOWN ­ There will be services Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel, and at 9:30 a.m. at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church for Josephine Perrett, 89, who passed away Sunday evening at Boardman Specialty Care.

Josephine was born May 8, 1917, in Youngstown, the daughter of Paul and Adele Corso Testa.
She had worked at the Strauss Department store in downtown Youngstown, General Fireproofing during WWII and Youngstown Air Conditioning from 1946 to 1959.
She was a member of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.

Her husband, Orlando ³Joe² Perrett, whom she married Oct. 16, 1957, died Oct. 7, 1981.

She is survived by a stepdaughter, Janice Russo of Arizona; two sisters, Vivian Vagnarelli of Boardman and Anna McIntyre of New Middletown; a grandson; and 11 nieces and nephews, with whom she shared a special relationship and who will remember her as a grandmother.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph, Carl and William Testa, and a nephew, John McIntyre.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home,
Poland Chapel.
