Austintown - There will be services Monday at Noon at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Judith Ann DeRose, 68, who passed away Thursday at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Judith was born December 20, 1938 in Youngstown, a daughter of Jacob F. Kahrer and Margaret Stiegler.
Judith was a 1956 Graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. She worked for General Motors, Lordstown for 32 years, retiring from the paint department in 2006. She enjoyed going swimming at Craig Beach during the summer. Her greatest love was her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.
Her husband James DeRose whom she married July 10, 1956 passed away ON JULY 19, 1971.
She leaves her mother Margaret Stiegler of New Castle, PA; two daughters Cheryll Allen of Youngstown and Cindy Thornley of Charlestown, South Carolina; two sons Alfred DeRose of Youngstown and Jimmy DeRose of Youngstown; four brothers Ronald Kahrer of Daytona Beach, Florida, Roy William Kahrer of Indianapolis, Indiana, Robert Stiegler of Fredricksburg, Virginia, and Gregory Stiegler of New Middletown; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father and her husband.
Family and friends may call Sunday from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
