Judith Singer

BOARDMAN - Judith Carol Singer, the daughter of William Lloyd and Sarah Scott Davidson was born May 4, 1944, in Louisville, Ky., and died Wednesday at her residence.

She graduated from Valley High School in Louisville, and Youngstown State University with an Associate Degree in nursing. She was a registered nurse for 33 years and was employed at Windsor Home Health.

Judith had six children of her own, but was also known as "Grannie" to many people who considered her to be their "mom." She was very adventurous and loved traveling and camping. Special places she enjoyed were Sanibel Island and Put In Bay. Her greatest joy in life was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved to go to Mountaineer. Her dog Casper, AKA Joe, was very special to her.

She is survived by her fiance, Michael Cikovich, whom she had been with for 21 years; her daughters, Kimberly Barth Patricia Fishman of Columbus, Laura Landolfi of Boardman, and Sarah Ellis Danielle Nickolas of Austintown; her sons, Lloyd Ellis Monica of Poland, David Ellis Stacy of Brandenberg, Ky., and Jonathan Ellis of Lexington, Ky.; sisters Sally Hunt William of Louisville and Kay Colston Michael of Louisville; a brother, William Davidson Antoinette of Louisville; 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, plus one on the way; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel.

Services will be at noon on Tuesday at the Arch L. Heady at the Resthaven Funeral Home in Louisville, with calling hours one hour prior.
