AUSTINTOWN - There will be funeral services at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015, at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for Judy Toropal, 40, who died Thursday morning at Briarfield at Ashley Circle.
Judy was born on July 6, 1975, in Cleveland, a daughter of Kin Keung Lum and Ehg Tan Lin.
She was a graduate of Youngstown State University, having majored in Education. Following graduation, Judy began working as a teacher at Newton Falls Schools. Her greatest passion was teaching others.
Judy leaves behind her loving husband, Ciprian Toropal, whom she married on Oct. 18, 2008.
She is also survived by her daughter, Eva Yu-Weh Toropal and stepson Cristian Matei Toropal, both at home; her sister, Sheree Lum of Taiwan; and brother Gewgkoh Lum of Pittsburgh.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, Aug. 7, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m., and again on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
