YOUNGSTOWN - Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for June L. O'Neill, 81, who passed away Wednesday morning at Humility House.
June was born June 16, 1929, in Youngstown, the daughter of Albert and Dot Francis Cadman.
June was a 1946 graduate of Chaney High School. She was a very active member of the Westside Baptist Church and their Sunday School. June was active with the Mahoning County Extension.
She was an avid bowler and card player. She enjoyed gin rummy, crossword puzzles, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.
June leaves her husband, John Joseph O'Neill Sr., whom she married May 6, 1950; three daughters, Ellan Ron Wallace of Katy, Texas, Elizabeth "Beth" Tom Heinz of Austintown and Joan Shonce of Youngstown; two sons, Kevin Sandy O'Neill and John Sissy O'Neill Jr., both of Youngstown; a sister, Mary Louise Elmer Fear of Utica, Mich.; a brother, David Lois Cadman of North Lima; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
June was preceded in death by her parents; a son-in-law, Garrett Shonce; a sister, Virginia Cadman; and a brother, Albert Cadman.
Family and friends may call Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
June's family would like to thank Humility House for all of their care and have requested that material tributes may take the form of donations to Humility House of Austintown in June's memory
