June Zordich-Bertilacci

AUSTINTOWN - There will be a memorial service Monday at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for June Marie Zordich Bertilacci, 74, who died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.

June was born June 12, 1941, in Youngstown to Joseph Vincent and Mary (Durish ) Scali.

She was a 1959 graduate of East High School.

June dedicated her life to raising her children. She also worked in cosmetology as a hair salon owner and co-owner of construction companies. She was previously employed by Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Lane Carpet, and Circuit City.

June is survived by her husband, Prospero (Bert) Bertilacci, whom she married in 1981; four children, June (Dewey) Cassell of Cary, N.C., Janice (Edward) Zordich-Lynch of Wexford, Pa., Stephen (Cyndi) Zordich of Austintown, and Jennifer (Douglas) Small of Columbus; her grandchildren, Joseph, Megan, Bobby, Kristin, Evan, Marielle, and Rachel.

She also leaves behind four stepchildren, Andrew (Amy) Bertilacci of Niles, Shawn Bertilacci of Niles Stacey Bertani, of Altoona Pa., and Lori (Scott) Schwaemmle of Cummings, Ga.; and nine stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Joseph Scali; and sister Marilyn Tarr; as well as her first husband, Stephen Andrew Zordich.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, and again one hour prior to the service on Monday.
