STRUTHERS - Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel for Karen M. Fanzo, 46, who passed away Wednesday morning at Maplecrest Nursing Home.
Karen was born Aug. 14, 1964, in Youngstown, a daughter of Edward and Susan Donnarumo Soich and was a lifelong area resident.
She was a 1982 graduate of Struthers High School. She worked for Assumption Nursing Home and Cheap Tobacco in McKinley Heights. She was an avid bowler at West Side Lanes for many years and loved working with crafts and ceramics.
She leaves four sons, Dan, Ricky, Adam and Alex Fanzo, all of Boardman; a sister, Cindy Soich of Struthers; a brother, Edward Soich of Youngstown; and her stepmother, Evelyn Soich of McDonald.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Family and friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
