A memorial service will be held Febuary 3, 2006 in Pheonix, Arizona for Kathleen " Kay " McLaughlin Heames age 86 formerly of Youngstown daughter of Vincent and Elizabeth McEvoy McLaughlin who died Christmas Day in Riverside California after a long illness.
In 1955 Kay and her husband Bud and five children moved from Girard to Pheonix, Arizona due to her health. In her later years she lived with her daughter Fran in Riverside California. Her husband Bud Heames preceded her in death in 1990.
She was also preceded in death by, a son Teddy Heames, a brother Vincent McLaughlin, sister Rita Ryan, and her parents.
She is survived by three sons, Dick, Terry, and Ken Heames, and two daughters, Kathy Butler, and Fran Hodgkinson with whom she made her home, nineteen grandchildren, two brothers, James Mary Agnes McLaughlin of Tucson, Arizona, and Richard Betty Mclaughlin of Youngstown, and five sisters, Mary Helen McMahon, Lenore Jim Nagle, Suzanne Johnson, Jeanne Foley all of Youngstown, and Ann Flannery of Akron and many loving nieces and nephews.
