Kathleen Hulburt

YOUNGSTOWN - Kathleen Hulburt, 69, died peacefully March 26, 2025 at home after a courageous battle with cancer. 

Kathleen was born June 25, 1955, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Irl and Florence Halicki Hulburt.

She attended Austintown High School and worked as a hairdresser at Rachel's for many years. 

Kathleen was a great cook, and enjoyed the time spent around the table with her family. She also spent many years cleaning and caring for the elderly. 

Kathleen is survived by her son, David Walton of Austintown; fiance, Duane Gerken; brother, John Hulburt of Austintown; sister Christine Knight of Niles and step-sister Barb Witherstein of Boardman; granddaughter, Bailee (Chris) Barton; and several nieces and nephews. 

Per Kathleen's wishes, there will be no services. 

Professional arrangements are being handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
