BOARDMAN - A memorial service will be held Friday at 6 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel for Kathleen J. Rich, 53, who passed away Monday at her home with her family by her side.
Kathleen was born Dec. 11, 1957, in Chicago, to Edward and Lillian Smeskol Kwiatkowski.
Kathleen was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, poetry and crafts. She loved to donate and help people.
She was a loving mother and sister and will be greatly missed by her children, sisters and all who knew her.
Her husband, James M. Rich, whom she married July 31, 1976, passed away March 28, 2008.
Kathleen leaves her four children, Dandelion W. Rich of Boardman, Seth U. Rich of Austin, Texas, Ruby I. Rich of Boardman and Mesha E. Shawn Coffman of Canfield; three sisters Mary Edison Coelho of Chicago, Barbara Bencroft of Texas and Patti Retzloff of San Antonio; and several nieces and nephews.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a sister, Shirley Kwiek.
