Kathryn Batzli

Austintown - Services will be held 9:00AM Tuesday at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel and at 9:30AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for Kathryn Hudron Batzli, 86 who passed away Friday morning at Meridian Arms Retirement Center.
Mrs. Batzli was born September 30, 1919 in Youngstown a daughter of Andrew and Veronica Olenick Hudron.
She was a 1937 graduate of East High School. She had been employed by the Mahoning County Human Resorces Department and was a member of P.E.R.S. She was a 38 year member of the Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.
Her husband, Raymond, whom she married August 28, 1941, passed away August 20, 1957.
She leaves a son, Atty. Terrence Sharon Batzli of Richmond, VA, two daughters, Karen Mark Parsons of Boardman and Lorene Eric Helke of Virginia Beach, VA, a sister, Cecile Paul Ritz of Youngstown, six grandchildren, Catherine B. Matt Stewart, Jonathan Batzli both of Richmond, VA, Sara M. Helke and Brett Helke, both of Virginia Beach, VA, Alison R. Parsons of Dublin, CA, and Molly Parsons of Palm Beach, FL, along with many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary A. Zordich and four brothers, Joseph, John, Andrew, and Michael Hudron.
Her family extends a special thank you to her friends and caregivers at Meridian Arms and Hospice of the Valley. Friends may call from 5 - 8PM Monday at HIggins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to "Adopt a Student Fund" at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
