CANFIELD - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church Catholic Church in Campbell, for Kenneth M. Bednarik, 51, who passed away Monday morning at the VA Clinic in Cleveland.
Kenneth was born May 18, 1960, in Youngstown, a son of Richard and Carol Liposchak Bednarik.
Kenneth attended St. John the Baptist Elementary School and then graduated from Campbell Memorial High School in 1978, where he was a member of their band.
Kenneth served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was owner and operator of Kenputer Solutions. He enjoyed working out, the Cleveland Browns and Indians. His greatest love was spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
Kenneth leaves his wife, the former Christine Bretz, whom he married Nov. 30, 1985; his parents, Carol Liposchak Bednarik of Lowellville and Richard Bednarik of Boardman; two sisters, Pamela Robert Taybus of Poland and Debra Sharkey of Austintown; his mother-in-law, Lois Bretz of New Middletown; a sister-in-law, Linda Jeff Best of East Palestine; two brothers-in-law, Gary Lynn Bretz of New Middletown and Norman Michele Bretz of Columbiana; an uncle Ken Karen Bednarik of Lady Lake, Florida and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Norman Bretz.
Family and friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel and Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
Burial will take place at Poland Riverside Cemetery, with military honors.
