Youngstown...Services will be held 11:00AM Saturday at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Kenneth C. Fitch, 80 who passed away Monday evening. Mr. Fitch was born June 5, 1925 the son of Homer and Gladys VanNostron Fitch.
Mr. Fitch had a great dedication to his country that was evident through his military service. He served with both the United States Army and Navy during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Union Local #5. He spent many years coaching little league football for Kirkmere Cleaners and the Austintown Wildcats. He was an avid bowler participating in various leagues throughout the community.
His wife, Mary C. Fitch, whom he married June 14, 1948, passed away November 8, 2002.
He leaves 2 sons, Paul K. Susan Fitch of Youngstown and Gus H. Gail Fitch of Tempe, AZ. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Uncle Jerry, Albert "Bill", and Robert, and a sister, Bonnie.
