KENNETH R. MOOK
AUSTINTOWN - Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the First Free Will Baptist Church, 5530 New Road, Austintown, OH 44515 for Kenneth R. Mook, 63, who died Thursday afternoon at Briarfield, after a courageous five year battle with cancer, and is now with God.
He was born April 29, 1950, in Youngstown, a son of Harold and Elaine Barber Zedek Mook.
Kenneth graduated from Fitch High School in 1968 and earned his Bachelors in Education from Youngstown State University. He retired in 2012 from Boardman Giant Eagle and Austintown Schools, where he had been a substitute teacher. Kenneth was a member of the church.
He leaves his mother, Elaine Zedek and his sister, Rebecca MacDonald, both of North Olmsted; his nephew, Donald (Julie) MacDonald; his great-niece, Kaitlyn; his nephew, Joshua MacDonald; and his beloved cat, Mitzy.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church and on Monday from 10 to 10:45 at the church.
