Kimberly Steele

AUSTINTOWN – A prayer service will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for Kimberly Anne Steele, 46, who died Friday morning at the Hospice House of the Valley surrounded by her family.

Kimberly was born Oct. 1, 1971, in Williamsport, Pa., a daughter of Carl H. and Florence (Richards) Steele.

Kimberly loved working for Trinity Logistics in sales, and throughout her career, she won many awards. Kimberly was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. She loved to sing and listen to country music, the outdoors and her dogs, but her favorite thing was being a mother.

Kimberly leaves her mom, Florence “Ellie” Steele of Virginia; companion Mark Klempay; daughter Alexis Scranton of Kent; son Timothy Steele at home; sister Terri (Joseph) Higham of South Carolina; brother Jim (Lori) Steele of Florida; and her biological father, John W. Snider.

The family would like to thank everyone who has helped Kimberly and her family during this time.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
