Lawrence Meese Sr

AUSTINTOWN-Services will be Tuesday at 10:00 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Lawrence P. " Larry" Meese Sr., age 75 of Englewood Rd. who died Friday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Larry was born December 21, 1928, in Youngstown, the son of James and Elizabeth Gilbride Meese. He had served in the US Army during the Korean War. He later worked at the A & P Warehouse in Salem, and was a member of Teamsters Local # 377. Larry was an avid sports fan, an active volunteer for the K of C Measure Up Campaign, and had been an officer for the Leonard Kurtz School Parent Teacher Association.

He is survived by his wife the former Olive P. Micheline whom he married January 17, 1959, a daughter Genevieve Bill Riley of Austintown, a son Lawrence P. Meese Jr. at home, a sister Mary Meese of Youngstown, a brother William Meese of California, and a granddaughter Jennifer Riley of Austintown.

He was preceded in death by two brothers John Meese, and Tom Gilbride, and a sister in law Mary Lou Skruck.
