Boardman - Services will be held 10:00AM Thursday at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel for Lena Philibin, 86 who passed away Monday afternoon. Mrs. Philibin was born May 30, 1919 in Hillsville, PA the daughter of Felix and Mary Minutillo Cervone.
She was employed as a meatwrapper for Bindas Sparkle Market for 20 years, retiring in 1981.
Her husband, Donald C. Philibin whom she married April 21, 1968, passed away August 22, 1992.
She leaves 3 daughters, Roberta Gasper Ballone of Lowellville, Gloria Fragle of Sharon, PA, and Kathy Philibin of Virginia, 2 sons, Donald and Gary Philibin both of Virginia, 4 sisters, Antoinette Kruger and Rosemarie Peterson both of Edinburgh, PA, Betty Jean Mehalic of Cleveland, and Thelma Gilcrest of Kent, a brother, Francis Cervone of Masontown, PA, 7 grandchildren, Terri, Joseph, Bob, Guy, Diane, Lena, and Gary, and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Nancy Cervone, and a brother Albert Cervone. Friends may call from 5 - 8PM Wednesday at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Lowellville or to MVI Hospice.
