Lenora Varley

POLAND - Services will begin Saturday morning at 10:00 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated at 10:30 AM at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers for E. Lenora "Butch" Varley age 85 who passed away at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown. Lenora was born September 14, 1922 in Youngstown, the daughter of Otto and Catherine Shaffer Haug. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Nicholas Church and the St. Paul Club at the Cathedral.
Her husband Michael R. Varley whom she married August 10, 1940 died November 13, 1993.
She is survived by her daughter Kelly James Serich of Poland, three sons; M. Richard Mary Ann Varley of Boardman, James H. Nancy Varley of Boardman and Dennis P. Rosalie Varley of Northville, Michigan, three sisters; Marie Charles Mayfield of Austintown, Anna Frank Horvath of Poland, and Josephine John McBratney of San Diego, California, seventeen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Verdella Bell.
