CLEARWATER, FLA. – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Church in Youngstown, with Fr. Edward P. Noga, for Lillian N. Galose, 75, who passed away Nov. 28, 2018, at her home in Clearwater.
Lillian was born Jan. 11, 1943, in Youngstown, a daughter of James and Angeline (Congenelli) Constantino.
Lillian graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School in Youngstown and went on to study interior design, which became a lifelong passion. Lillian had a deep love for animals and contributed to several organizations which represent animals and wildlife. Lillian loved spending time with family, friends, and her beloved dog, Sparky. She was a member of St. Cecilia Parish in Clearwater, Florida.
Her husband, Michael C. Galose Jr., MD, whom she married Oct. 26, 1967, passed away April 7, 2007. He was deeply missed by Lillian for the remainder of her life.
Lillian is survived by two daughters, Angela (Annunziato) Garofalo and Amanda (Shawn) Van Valkenburg; five grandchildren, Sophia and Luca Garofalo, and Gianna, Giulia, and Gabriella Van Valkenburg
Lillian was also preceded in death by her parents and husband.
In lieu of flowers, material tributes may take the form of donations to Hospice of the Valley, Mahoning County, 5190 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512.
