AUSTINTOWN - Services will be Friday evening at 7 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for Linda J. Conn Downs, 67, who died early Saturday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.
Linda was born May 25, 1947, in Youngstown, the daughter of William and Julia (St. John) Conn.
She attended East High School, was a homemaker, loved crafts, knitting and being around her grandchildren.
She is survived by five children, Jerry (Sandy) Downs of Austintown, Donald Downs of Youngstown, Christina Braymen of Youngstown, Robert Downs of Brookfield and Nicholas Downs of Youngstown; two sisters, Donna Mae Treharn of Youngstown and Debbie (John) Fabian of Tennessee; a brother, William Conn of Youngstown; 12 grandchildren, Stephanie, Brittany, Mathew, AnnJoy, Ashley, Donald Jr., Jeffrey, Amber, Joseph, Randy Jr., Jerry Jr. and Devana; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a stepfather, Angelo Ambrosia.
Friends may call Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of services at 7 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
