STRUTHERS ? Prayers will begin Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11 a.m. at the Holy Family Church, for Lisa Wauschek D'Angelo, 45, who died early Saturday morning at Maplecrest Nursing Home, after an extended illness.
Lisa was born June 19, 1965, the daughter of Dale and Lynda Shook Wauschek.
She was a 1983 graduate of Boardman High School and later graduated from the Sheffield School of Interior Design of Manhatton, N.Y. Lisa was also a licensed cosmetologist and had worked as a hairdresser at the Kauffman's salon in the Southern Park Mall. Most recently, she had worked at Infocision as a telemarketer until the time of her illness. She was a member of the Holy Family Church and was a member of the Cursillo movement. Lisa also was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association, Doberman Pincher Rescue, and as a member of Theorpy Dog International, she would bring her Great Dane Penelope to area nursing homes.
She is survived by her parents, Dale and Lynda Wauschek of Boardman; her former husband John "Jody" D'Angelo; a daughter, Alyssa D'Angelo; and a son, Nick D'Angelo, all of Poland; two brothers, Ron Valeri Wauschek of Pepperpike and Scott Denise Wauschek of Strongsville; and her nieces and nephews, Emma, Kate, Michael, Megan and Robbie.
Friends may call today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel.
