Lisa M. Mendozzi

STRUTHERS - Lisa M. Mendozzi, passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 59, surrounded by her family.

Lisa was born on March 31, 1965, in Youngstown, and was a lifelong Struthers resident.

She was a proud graduate of Struthers High School, Class of 1983, and later earned her Bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University.

For over 30 years, Lisa served as a Certified Public Accountant for Falcon Foundry, where her passion and dedication made a lasting impact on her colleagues and clients alike. She was a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she loved reading and her visits to the casino.

Lisa's heart was especially devoted to her family, and she selflessly dedicated her time to caring for her mother until her passing last year.

She is survived by her loving sisters, Paula (James) Spiker and Carla (Michael) Lopez; her brother, Mario P. (Katie) Mendozzi; her nieces and nephews, Jim (Laurie) Spiker, Alex (Lindsey) Spiker, Karly (Dan) Hartman, Evelyn Lopez, Zach and Tyler Schramm, and Brady and Emily Mendozzi; and great nieces and nephews, Ryan, Nicholas, Joseph, and Onilee Spiker.

She was preceded in death by her parents Mario and Theodora DeMario Mendozzi; and her brother, John Mendozzi.

Family and friends may pay their respects Friday, Jan. 17 from 10 to 11:45 AM at Christ Our Savior, St. Nicholas Church, a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Struthers Library, 95 Poland Ave, Struthers, OH 44471.
