Lois Jean Patton, 80
POLAND There will be funeral services at 1 p.m. Friday at the
Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel for Lois Jean Patton, 80, who
died Monday afternoon at her residence.
Mrs. Patton was born April 1, 1926 in Youngstown, a daughter of Carl and
Ethel Knight Port, and was a lifelong area resident.
A 1944 graduate of South High School, she was employed as a clerk manager
for the Fish Dry Cleaning Company. She was a member of the Amateur Radio
Operators, an avid listener of the Youngstown Radio Reading Service, and an
avid NASCAR fan.
Her husband, Robert W. Patton, whom she married May 4, 1946, died Dec. 17,
2001.
She leaves two daughters, Roberta Larry Boston of Poland and Elizabeth
C.W. Adcock of Amarillo, Texas; two sons, William Sharon Patton of San
Antonio and Burl Patton of North Lima; a sister, Karletta Louie Torba of
Villa Maria, Pa.; two brothers, Charles Pat Port of Goodyear, Ariz. and
Carl Judy Port of Pampa, Texas; eight grandchildren; and four
great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
