AUSTINTOWN - Memorial services will be Thursday at 12:30 PM at the Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church for Lois J. Poppke age 72 formerly of Austintown who passed away early Monday morning at Forum Northside Hospital.
Lois was born June 8, 1933, in Youngstown the daughter of Joseph and Josephine M. Dinger Weston.
She was a graduate of Youngstown South High School, a homemaker, and a member of Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
Her husband Edward Poppke whom she married January 28, 1952, died July 20, 1995.
She is survived by her mother Josephine Weston of Youngstown, three sons, Jeffrey Alecia Poppke of Boardman, Gerald Ilona Poppke of Jamison, PA, and Gregory Julie Poppke of Nederland, Texas, a brother James Margaret Weston of Lake St. Louis, MO., and six grandchildren, Gina, Daniel, Trever, Kathryn, Laura and Eric Poppke.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her father.
Friends may call for 1/2 hour prior to services at the church.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to the Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church memorial fund 2432 S. Raccoon Rd. Austintown, Ohio 44515.
