YOUNGSTOWN - Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for Lori Bogard, 44, who died Saturday evening at Hospice House.
Lori was born May 11, 1972, in Youngstown, the daughter of David and Mary Elaine (Sammartino) Bogard.
She was a 1990 graduate of Boardman High School and attended the University of Toledo. During her time in college, she had the opportunity to study abroad in South Korea.
She was a member of St. Christine Church.
Lori loved being a mother and adored her daughter. Not only was she a great mother, but a great daughter and fiancée.
She is survived by her father, David Bogard of Youngstown; fiancée Dale Rendo of Boardman, whom she spent 15 years together; daughter Mary Jo Rendo; brother Greg Bogard of Canfield; and niece and nephew Sammy and Gregory Bogard.
Lori was preceded in death by her mother and brother David Bogard.
Family and friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to the Cancer Society, 525 N. Broad St., Canfield, OH 44406.
