POLAND - Funeral services will be held Sunday at 6 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel for Lorraine K. Klotz, 71, who passed away Thursday afternoon at her home with her family at her side.
Lorraine was born Aug. 11, 1947, the daughter of Carman and Audrey (Davies) Miller.
Lorraine was a graduate of John Marshall High School in Cleveland and then moved to Poland in 1970.
She had worked at the Smith Corners United Methodist Church daycare program. Lorraine was a proud advocate for Special Olympics and loved music and word games. Lorraine was an excellent baker and ran Lorraine’s Baking out of her home.
Lorraine is survived by her husband, John J. Klotz, whom she married June 24, 1965; two sons, John (Tricia) Klotz of Indianapolis, Ind., and James (Rhonda) Klotz of Bradford, Mass.; a sister, Audry (Regis “Butch”) of North Royalton; and two grandchildren, Ian Klotz and Cali Klotz.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Carmine, Randy, and Mike.
Friends may call from 3 until the services at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St. Boardman, OH 44512, in Lorraine’s memory.
