Louis Lacivita

November 6, 1917 — April 24, 2005

YOUNGSTOWN - Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 AM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel, and at 11:00 AM at St. Luke Church for Louis E. LaCivita age 87 of Sterling House, formerly of Edinridge Dr. who passed away Sunday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Louis was born November 6, 1917, in Youngstown, the son of Albert and Marietta Carosella LaCivita. He was a 1936 graduate of East High School. Louis answered the call to duty by serving in the Navy during W.W. II in the Asiatic and Pacific Theaters stationed on Okanowa. He worked at Truscon, American Bridge, and in 1983 retired from the Youngstown Health Department where he had worked as an inspector. He attended St. Luke Church.
He is survived by three sisters, Anna Marie DiPasqua of Boardman, Margaret Fata of Boardman, and Patricia Carlomagno of Canfield, and his nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Rose Petrich, and three brothers, Angelo, and Ralph LaCivita, and his brother Larry LaCivita with whom he made his home for many years.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday evening, and from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM Wednesday morning at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel.
The family requests that material tributes take the form of donations to either the St. Luke's School Scholarship Fund or the charity of the donors choice in Louis's name.
