Louise Emerick

CANFIELD - Services will be Saturday evening at 7:00 PM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel for Louise B. Emerick age 92 of Canfield formerly of Castle Shannon, PA who passed away Friday morning at Shepherd of the Valley Care Center in Boardman.

Louise was born February 20, 1914, in Smithfield, PA the daughter of Louis and Katherine Schillenberger French.

She had assisted her husband with their family business KR Emerick Painting and Decorating in Castle Shannon, and was a former member of the Castle Shannon United Methodist Church. She moved to Canfield from Pennsylvania in 2002. She was a member of the Canfield United Methodist Church.

Her husband Kenneth R. Emerick whom she married March 20, 1930, died June 14, 1990.

She is survived by her son Kenneth Bonnie Emerick of Canfield, two sisters; Katherine Raymond Chess, and Marge Raymond Hearn, two brothers, Harry French and Lloyd Elizabeth French, two sisters in law, Olive and Alice French all of Smithfield, grandsons, Michael Deanna Emerick of Great Falls, Montana, Jeffrey Hope Emerick of Canfield, a granddaughter in law Bella the wife of her grandson Douglas Emerick who preceded her in death. Thirteen great grandchildren, Victor Sarah Emerick, Latoshia, Wesley, Eric, Kymberly, Cabe, Victoria, Taryn, Brittany, Shane, Naomi, Abigail, and Holly.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Elsie Matz, and two brothers, Joe and Frank French.

Friends may call Saturday from 4 PM to 7:00 PM at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.

There will also be Services Sunday afternoon at 3:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, PA., where friends may call from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday.

The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to the Canfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St. Canfield, Ohio 44406
