YOUNGSTOWN - Private services were held for Luciano "Lou" Fiumara Jr., 90, who died Monday morning at Hospice House.
Lou was born Aug. 19, 1926, in Youngstown, the son of Samuel and Elisa (Pussino) Fiumara Sr.
He was a graduate of East High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served his country during the Korean War.
His wife, the former Lee Dempesis, whom he married Nov. 27, 1952, died Oct. 29, 1978.
Lou is survived by two sisters, Vickie Murphy of Poland and Elizabeth Celio of Youngstown; his longtime companion, Mary Quaresimo; and 10 nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; and brothers Tony and Samuel Fiumara.
Per Lou's wishes, there will be no calling hours or public services.
The family has requested material tributes take the form of donations to Hospice House, 9803 Sharrott Road, Poland, OH 44514.
