BOARDMAN - Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Good Hope Lutheran Church, 98 Homestead Drive in Boardman for Mrs. Lucille M. Conser, 87, who passed away Wednesday June 13, 2012, at Masternick Memorial Health Care Center.
She was born Sept. 2, 1924, in Alliance, a daughter of Leo and Lillie Michelsen Diebel.
She was a member of the Good Hope Lutheran Church and their Boosters club. She's a former member of Tri County ABWA- and was named 1991 Woman of the Year.
She worked at the Alliance Rubber plant in the early 40s. She joined Stanley Home Products in 1968 and through promotions, became a Branch Manager in Mansfield in 1970. She was promoted to Branch Manager in the Youngstown area in 1977, retiring in 1986. After retirement, she became a division manager with Contempo Jewelry until 1992.
She leaves behind to hold on to her precious memories, her husband and best friend, Daniel Lavern Conser Sr., whom she married Nov. 14, 1942; children Daniel Carol Conser Jr. of Alliance, Arthur Patti Conser of Columbiana, Dorothy Gary Howard of Albuquerque, N.M., Bruce Carmen Conser of Concord, N.C., Nancy Randy Brown of Boardman and David Kay Conser of Melbourne, Australia; 12 grandchildren, Daniel Michele Conser, Beverly Fowler, Susan Chris Vitko, Sharon Jeff Jackson, Clint Howard, Christopher, Sylvia and Victor Conser, Shawna and Carrie Brown, and Daniella and Jessica Conser; five great-grandchildren, Sabrina and Ty Fowler, Logan and Zachery Jackson and Cory Vitko; and sister-in-law, Claire Diebel
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Ann Marie Conser and brothers Leverne Diebel and LeRoy Betty Diebel.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel and on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. till the time of the service at the church.
The family would like to thank Dr. Masternick and all the amazing staff at Masternick Memorial Health Care Center for all their love, support and wonderful care.
