Maddison Pappas

AUSTINTOWN - A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for Maddison Taylor Pappas, 15, who passed away unexpectedly early Wednesday morning.

Maddison was born July 11, 2000, in Youngstown, daughter of Erik Thomas and Shannon Marie (Gregory) Pappas.

Maddison enjoyed working for Lutz Greenhouse, for fun, in her spare time. Her favorite hobbies included watching Netflix, shopping, playing Monopoly, spending time with her cousin, Haley, midnight Walmart trips with her dad, and collecting candles. She also loved all animals, especially her canine companions, which she considered her "babies," Sammie and Zoey.

Maddison leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Erik and Shannon Pappas of Austintown; 8-year-old sister, Ava; 12-year-old brother, Hunter; maternal grandmother, Suzette (Hank) Krut; paternal grandfather, Ernie Pappas; maternal stepgrandmother, Renee Gregory; four uncles, Shane (Kerry) O'Toole of Pittsburgh, Dustin (Miranda) Gregory of Columbiana, Shawn (Regan) Pappas of Clearwater, Fla., and Shane Pappas of Seminole, Fla.; aunt Taylor (Sean Connolly) of Canfield; cousins Layla and Orion O'Toole; and great-uncle Andy Fergus.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jeff Gregory; and paternal grandmother, Judy Pappas, with whom she was very close.

Family and friends may pay their respects Tuesday from 3 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
