POLAND - Magdalen M. "Maggie" Kulyk, 71, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, Aug. 31.
She was born Oct., 16, 1941, in Aliquippa, Pa., to John and Agatha (Klimavicus) Kimak.
Maggie was a graduate of St. Veronica High School in Ambridge, Pa. She was a homemaker and unceasingly devoted her life to her family, was active in the church and was a genuine friend to all persons she met.
She is survived by her husband, Michael S. Kulyk, whom she married May 25, 1963; two sons, Stephen (Tracy) Kulyk of Richmond, Va., and Jeffrey Kulyk of Girard; and two granddaughters, Stephanie and Michelle Kulyk.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Victoria Skinger, Veronica Messmer and Janet Wright.
Prayers will begin Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Boardman.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Internment will take place at Poland Riverside Cemetery.
The family requested that material tributes take the form of donations to St. Charles Borromeo Church.
