AUSTINTOWN - Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Marcella D. Langenheim, 86, who died Wednesday afternoon at the Hospice House.
Marcella was born Feb. 3, 1925, in Struthers, the daughter of John and Catherine Shuster Craver.
She had worked as a laborer at Astro Shapes in Struthers for over 10 years before retiring. Marcella's greatest joy was her family.
Her husband, Charles G. Langenheim, whom she married Aug. 8, 1943, died Jan. 24, 1999.
She is survived by five daughters, Shirley Mauerman, Carol Robert Shellenberger, Patricia Boham, Rhonda Wem and Lori Dennis Demchak; four sons, Richard Patricia, Ronald Debbie, James OD and Kenneth Michael Langenheim; four sisters, Mary Ellen Adams, Ann Craver, Patricia Gagey, and Catherine Owens; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Eileen Betsch; two brothers, James and John Craver; two grandchildren; and two sons-in-law, Gordon Mauerman and Myron Wem.
Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Monday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to the Hospice House in Marcella's memory.
