Margaret Carosella

NORTH LIMA - Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for Margaret Carosella, 93, who died Tuesday evening at Assumption Village.

Margaret was born Sept. 17, 1925, in Youngstown, the daughter of John and Zella (Voitus) Graff.

Margaret spent her life as a dedicated homemaker caring for her husband and children. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and baking.

Margaret’s husband, Michael Carosella, whom she married Jan. 20, 1956, died April 9, 2011.

She is survived by two daughters, Anna Marie Billis of Campbell and Sally (William) Gregory of Cincinnati; five sons, Eric Carosella of Austintown, Frank (Nicole) Carosella of Youngstown, Michael (Cindy) Carosella of Austintown, Vincent Carosella of Boardman and Edward (Susan) Carosella of Boardman; sister Mary (Frank) Charmers of Pittsburgh; brother Fred Graff of Florida; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Margaret was also preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Carmel Carosella; son John Carosella; and son-in-law John Billis.

Family and friends may call Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the staff at Assumption Village for the care and compassion given to Margaret.
