Margaret Collette

Iowa Falls - Funeral Services will be held Sunday at 5 PM at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, with the Reverends Herb Kenyon and William Bullen officiating, for Margaret K. Collette, 93, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, and formerly of Austintown, Ohio, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the Heritage Care Center, Iowa Falls.

Margaret Kathryn Blythe was born January 4, 1920, at Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Thomas Grant and Florence [Stafford] Blythe.

She attended Pittsburg, Pennsylvania Community Schools. On December 2, 1941, Margaret was united in marriage to William Rue Collette in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Margaret was a cook and custodian for the Austintown Middle School. Margaret was a member of the Faith Chapel Open Bible Church in Youngstown, Ohio and the Church of the Open Bible, Iowa Falls, Iowa. Marge was a prayer warrior, loved to write, and send cards. Everyone loved her sense of humor, even the undertaker.

Margaret Collette is survived by her children: Marjorie Ann Bullen [Richard] of Austintown, Ohio, Jaccie Kenyon [Herb] of Iowa Falls, Iowa; a step son: Charles Collette [Sandy] of Dayton, Virginia. 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her husband William Collette; a step son: William Collette Jr.; 2 brothers: Thomas Blythe and James Blythe; a sister: Joan Pawlak; and 2 grandchildren: Richard Bullen, Jr. and Virginia Collette.

Family and friends may call Sunday from 3 to 5 PM at the funeral home.

Private burial will be at the Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown, Ohio.
