Silver Spring, MD - Funeral services were held Tuesday July 10, 2007 at 10 AM at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Silver Spring for Margaret " Peg" Harker, 95 of Silver Spring who died Thursday July 5 at her residence.
Peg was born December 16, 1911 in Pittsburgh, PA a daughter of Robert and Ina Frow MacKay coming to Youngstown as a child.
She was a 1930 graduate of South High School and a former and very active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Youngstown. She was currently a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Silver Spring.
Peg leaves her son Richard Veronica Harker and a grandson Justin Harker with whom she made her home; a great niece Linda Don Cook of Salem and a nephew Ron Loretta McKay of Boardman.
The family will have a committal service at Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown.
