BOARDMAN - Services will be Friday at 11:00 AM at St. Mark's Lutheran Church for Margaret F. Hupp age 104 of Boardman who passed away Monday evening at Shepherd of the Valley in Boardman.
Margaret was born July 13, 1901, in Youngstown the daughter of William J. and Augusta Grischow Krause.
She was a homemaker, and a charter member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the Ladies Dorcas Society.
Her husband Max H. Hupp whom she married October 6, 1921, died October 20, 1968.
She is survived by three daughters, Norma Jean George West of Canfield, Eileen M. John Rowthorn of Eddyville, KY, and Nancy P. Brown of Boardman, two sons Harold E. Mary Frances Hupp of Austintown, and James M. Ila Hupp of Columbiana, fourteen grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by a son Carl William Hupp, a son-in-law Russell Brown, and two sisters, Eleanor Williams and Mildred Braunlich.
Friends may call from 5 PM to 7 PM Thursday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel, and for one hour prior to services Friday morning at the church.
The family has requested tributes take the form of donations to either St. Mark's Lutheran Church or Shepherd of the Valley in Margaret's name.
