CORNERSBURG - Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for M. Kay Klamer, 53, who died Monday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Kay was born Nov. 11, 1962, in Youngstown the daughter of John E. and Roberta (Simcox) Klamer.
She was a 1981 graduate of Chaney High School and Youngstown State University in 1995.
Kay worked as a beauty control representative for many years. She was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church and the Saxon Club.
At the age of 21, Kay became blind as a result of complications from diabetes. However, she did not let that affect her life. Kay was also a member of Guide Dogs of America and the Society for the Blind.
She is survived by her father, John E. Klamer of Youngstown.
Kay was preceded in death by her mother; and brother Paul Klamer.
Family and friends may call Wednesday for one hour prior to the funeral.
