NORTH JACKSON - Graveside services will be held Monday at noon at Green Haven Memorial Gardens for Margaret L. Polinski, 94, who passed away Thursday evening at the Antonine Village.
Margaret was born May 29, 1924 in Greenville, S.C., a daughter of the late James and Ada (Dunlap) Tilson, and came to the area in the 1950s from Nashville, Tenn.
Margaret was a 1941 graduate of Greenville High School. She was a manager for Petrie’s Women’s Clothing Store. Margaret devoted her life to taking care of her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with all of them. She also loved reading her Bible.
Her husband, Alex W. Polinski, whom she married Aug. 20, 1943, passed away Aug. 23, 1999.
Margaret leaves her daughter, Joan (Ron) Pondillo of Austintown; two grandsons, Andrew (Nicole) Pondillo and Adam Pondillo; two great-grandchildren, Anthony and Nina Pondillo; and a sister, Catherine Rhodes of Nashville.
Margaret was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Evans.
Margaret’s family would like to give a special thanks to everyone at the Antonine Village and Crossroads Hospice for all of their compassionate care.
