COVINA, CALIF. - Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel for Marguerite Lascola, 90, who died Saturday afternoon at Royal Crest Health Care with her family at her side.
Marguerite was born Sept. 5, 1920, in Youngstown, to the late Saverio and Anna Gaglione Lascola.
Marguerite left Youngstown for Buffalo, N.Y. and spent most of her adult life there before moving to California in 1999 to be closer to her sister and niece.
She was a manager at Sears-Roebuck for over 35 years.
Marguerite was survived by her sister-in-law, Michelina Lascola; and nieces and nephews, Marie Roger Brannan, Anne Knight, Marie Max Pelleschi, Anthony Alice Lascola, Leonard Judy Lascola, Michael Sue Lascola, Joann Baker, Annmarie Mediate and Harry Lascola.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, August Lascola, Angeline Purpura, Caroline Colla, Mary Scardina, Leonard Lascola, Josephine Sarkies, Anne Dattillo and Sara Gaglione.
Friends may call today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial at Calvary Cemetery.
