BOARDMAN - There will be services at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Charles Church for Maria L. Fajack, who passed away Monday evening at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous two-year battle with cancer.
Maria was born in Monterry, Mexico, the daughter of Thomas and Paula Rodriguez Cantu.
She was a member of the church and of the Boardman Gridiron.
Maria leaves her husband, Ralph M. Fajack, whom she married July 6, 1990; her parents, Thomas and Paula Cantu of Moreno Valley, Calif.; three sons, Michael A. Robin Arocho of Atlanta, Christopher A. Arocho of San Antonio, Texas, and Nicholas J. Fajack at home; five sisters, Stella Ruben Castro of Moreno Valley, Carmen Martin Perez of Orange, Calif., Terri Martinez and her son Kevin Martinez of San Antonio, Jagi Henry Briseno of Moreno Valley, and Esther Keith Jenson of San Diego, Calif.; three brothers, Joseph Cantu Jr. of Moreno Valley, Thomas Cantu Jr. of Corona, Calif., and Elias Cantu of Moreno Valley; her in-laws, Joseph and Joanne Fajack; two sisters-in-law, Michelle Nicholson and Sonja Morton; and four grandchildren.
Family and friends may call 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
