CANFIELD ? Funeral services will begin at 9:15 a.m. Monday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Michael Church in Canfield for Marie C. Snyder, 76, who died Wednesday morning at Forum Health Northside Medical Center.
Marie was born Sept. 11, 1934, in Youngstown, to the late Frank and Antoinette Pupino Crish.
She was a 1953 Chaney High School graduate. Marie retired from Packard Electric in 1991, with over 27 years service.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Snyder Sr., they married Oct. 16, 1954, he died Sept. 2, 1995.
She will be missed by her daughter, Sharon A. Snyder of Maple Heights, her son, Robert Peggy Snyder Jr. of Boardman; two granddaughters, Tracy Snyder Latta and her husband, Nicholas of Findley and Diane Snyder of Boardman; and a great-grandson, Grady Latta.
She also loved her so called second family, The Scheckelhoff neighbors across the street, Lori, Tom, Christopher, Nicholas and the little girl she baptized, McKenzie. They were always there for her.
She loved working in the yard, baking pecan tarts and clothes pin cookies for family and friends. She liked the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers at times.
Friends may call Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
