NEW MIDDLETOWN-Services will be Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for Marilyn A. Rachic age 50 of Hedgerows Crt. who passed away
early Tuesday morning at her home after a 1 1/2 year illness with cancer. Marilyn was born October 9, 1953, in Youngstown, the daughter of Anthony and Helen Tabak Skripac. She was a graduate of Lowellville High School, and the Victor George Beauty Academy where she had received her certification as a cosmetologist. Marilyn had worked as a medical secretary for the Bel-Park Laboratory for 18 years before retiring in 1989. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle,
had served on its church council, was active in the Springfield Parent Teacher Organization for many years, and the Springfield baseball concession committee.
She is survived by her husband Sy Rachic whom she married November 24, 1973, her mother Helen Skripac, of New Middletown, two sons Joseph Jenny Rachic of
New Middletown, and Chad Rachic at home, a brother Paul Kathy Skripac of Boardman, and two grandsons Ryan and Mark Rachic.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Friends may call from 4 PM to 8 PM Friday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Poland Chapel, and Saturday morning from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the church. The family requests that material tributes take the form of donations to Hospice of the Valley or the St. Paul the Apostle building fund.
