Mark Hamilton

STRUTHERS - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at the Christ Our Savior Holy Trinity for Mark S. Hamilton, 59, who passed away Sunday morning at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.

Mark was born Oct. 30, 1956, in Youngstown, a son of the late Jay and Frances (Novinsky) Hamilton.

Mark graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School in 1975, and received a Bachelor's Degree from Youngstown State University. He was most recently employed by RTI in Niles for four years in their research and development department. Prior to RTI, he was employed by Warren Steel for two years and General Extrusion for 30 years.

He loved playing his guitar and putting model cars together. His greatest love was for his family and spending time with his wife and son.

Mark is survived by his wife, the former Kathy A. Porinchak, whom he married June 26, 1982; his son, Mark Hamilton of Struthers; a sister, Laura (Ron) Pasquale of Atlanta; a brother, Gerald Hamilton of Austintown; a brother-in-law, George (Bernie) Porinchak of Canfield; and several nephews and a niece.

Family and friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel, and Thursday from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. at the Christ Our Savior Holy Trinity Church.
