CAMPBELL - Mark G. Hinge, 67, died peacefully July 4, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on May 6, 1957, in Youngstown, the son of the late George and Anna (Halikos) Hinge.
Mark was a proud graduate of North High School and also attended Youngstown State University.
Mark had a fulfilling career as a carpentry instructor at Choffin Career and Technical Center before retiring. He shared his passion for woodworking with many students throughout his tenure.
He had a deep love for motorcycles and was a lifetime Hog member. Riding his Harley brought him immense joy and freedom over the years. Mark's faith was also a very important part of his life.
Apart from carpentry and biking, Mark found solace in music. He was a bass player for the bands 4lane highway and uptown
Mark will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his beloved wife, the former Karen Pagan, whom he married on Nov. 12, 2001; his sisters, Irene (Jim) Skoufis of Campbell and Mary (Ed) Nau of Youngstown; brothers Nick Hinge of Exeter, PA, Michael (Jim White) Hinge of Youngstown, and Daniel (Kristin) Demetrius of Morris, Minn.; along with nieces and nephews, Alethea, Sophia, Stephanie, Ben, Leo, and Anna.
A memorial service to honor Mark is planned for Saturday July 27th, 3:00 PM at Greater Life Church, 1900 Canfield Rd., Youngstown, Ohio.
